Healthcare for LGBTQ+

      It is of the upmost importance that LGBTQ + healthcare be researched and prioritized by hospitals that are going to be treating LGBTQ+ Community members. Healthcare centers are supposed to be a safe place for these individuals to go to for both physical and mental safety— therefore discrimination in this space can be the most harmful. An example of how harmful this can be is the case of Kyler Prescott. Kyler  was a transgender teen that was admitted to a hospital for suicide- related problems, and because the healthcare workers that were taking care of him kept on misgendering him, Kyler was pushed to commit suicide shortly after.
